If a UF medical specialist came out and said Lagway's injury is minor and may be totally fine in a few days, yes I'd believe them. But we only heard from CBN, not the doctors. So its not unreasonable to wonder if what CBN is saying is at least partially driven by gamesmanship.. Its not that uncommon for coaches to do that, heck Kyle Wittingham never ruled out Cam Rising last year and that dude never took a snap nor was he even close to doing so.
Any Doctors on this site who can give insight as to how they treat an injury like Lagways? Curious as to if there are treatments to help speed the healing.
It wouldn't be the Drs doing the treatments, it would be the PT's and ATC's. If it's non-surgical, rest, heat, compression, ultrasound and NMES. A more progressive PT would add laser or red light therapy. Also increasing his protein intake to stimulate protein synthesis and muscle fiber repair.
And the injury reports we get are a load of crap. The closest we get is upper or lower body. Tissue or bone.
If Napier has another losing season, that would make 3 years in a row... But, regardless, I just hope Lagway gets better soon.
I’m laughing at all the people who are willing to put our program in the hands of yet another head coach who hasn’t won shit in his entire career. Mighty Lane’s team lost this season to the same Kentucky team we just beat by 4 touchdowns. Just say no to Lane Kiffin
Ideally, we'd have a head coach who hires guys like Lane to be OC. A head coach who doesn't have the time and is not interested in posting on social media.
