I don't expect many people to watch this 50-minute debate, but I did, and Pete is quite the debater and consistently respectful in his counter points and a great Harris ambassador.

Pete Buttigieg Convinces Undecided Voters to Back Harris in Key Swing State - Newsweek

Prior to the debate with Buttigieg, of the 25 voters he debated, six were leaning toward Harris, four were leaning toward Trump, five were leaning 3rd party and a majority of eleven voters were leaning toward not voting at all.

After the debate, 12 voters intended to vote for Harris with the number having doubled. Five were going to vote for Trump, six were going to vote for third parties and three intended not to vote.

Pete impresses the hell out of me. Watched some of these debates.

Dude goes into the lions den on Fox News and makes very clear logical arguments that blow the bogus crap Fox tries to tell its listeners out of the water.

That said, I'm glad he isn't the nominee this year. I have no problem with a gay president, but too many do. Maybe we can give him his shot when not so much is on the line, and the Pubs are running a sane candidate.

Pete is great on Fox "News," as well. They much be masochists to keep inviting him on.

That or they actually want Trump to lose too, but just can't say it out loud.

This format seems to be quite popular. I watched one with a 15yr old liberal kid debating Trumpies. There are others with a conservative media guy debating 25 libs. I'll have to watch this later on. I'm a big fan of Mayor Pete.

Why was this disliked? Bluke is just being a brat at this point and throwing out dislikes randomly.

So it seems like 19 weren’t really undecided.

Who knows what people will say to get on TV? Still it was a good showing.

Young people have been filled with so much “change the world” that they don’t understand that it requires one to be inside the system to make small incremental changes to achieve larger outcomes. Failed logic. They all want to be Greta.

Dislikes are usually reserved for more extreme posts. Posters who throw out dislikes tend to throw them out as a partisan signal or just trolling.
