I know this has been said here as nauseum, but, all of college football seems to agree that had Lagway not gotten injured they would have been cooked.
Guess I haven’t seen all of college football agreeing on Lagway. Kid is a talent for sure and did hit a bomb. He had one other completion on an overthrow circus catch by your receiver. Finished his day 2-6 for 47 yards, almost all of that on the bomb. Not sure UGA would have been “cooked.”
I agree he was only 2-6 but there was always the threat of throwing. We were running really good on you until the box was stacked. So maybe not cooked, but the way the game was going while DJ was in there was definitly trending in a Gator win. Anyone watching that game likely had that same thought, including UGA fans
