Sadly, this is the type of shit that could undo the Jax tradition of the WLOCP (eg--why we're not even supposed to refer to it as the WLOCP anymore--which, imho, is completely counter productive, since "cocktail party" contemplstes and conjurs up something a tad more civilized and friendly, than it sometimes actually is).
I thought this as well. This could definitely be used by UGA officials to try to get the game out of Jax. I think the two years it's away from Jax will be interesting. If the Atlanta/Tampa situation works well, I could see UGA admin really pushing to either go regular home/home or keep the Atlanta/Tampa setup. Of course that messes up a big reason for the game being in Jax. We all know Athens really isn't centrally located in Georgia. Heck Athens is more convenient to a lot of North Carolina and South Carolina than it is to the southern part of Georgia. The whole point of the Jax game was to give the UGA fans in South Georgia a game they didn't have to travel 3, 4, 5 hours to get to. Especially since Atlanta now controls Georgia just like Chicago controls Illinois. You think some UGA fans in South Georgia would be pretty p*ssed that UGA is trying to essentially give them the middle finger. But again I could definitely see these incidents being more evidence UGA can use to get the game out of Jax.

Yeah the biggest problem with all this is that the taxpayers are on the hook and not the officers or the unions or anybody who would actually want to institute change. The best solution I ever heard to this was that officer should be forced to carry their own insurance and thus if they have too many incidents they become uninsurable
