Hell of an ending to game 1. I only saw the last inning but wow. NY walks Betts to get to Freeman.

Freeman with the slam as LA wins game 1, 6-3. In 10.

    Wow, just wow.
If the Yankee LF would not have fallen over the foul line fence, thus advancing the two baserunners up a base, Betts probably is not walked, and perhaps Freddie never comes up with bases loaded.
Wow, its why you have to get all 27 outs.

Dodgers up 2 games to 0 but Ohtani injured. :( Don't really have much of a rooting interest but bad break for LA.

Tonight’s been a good night—haven’t had to watch Soto showboat on the baseball field today!

Former Vandy star Walker Buehler and the LA bullpen shut down NY 4-2.. Freeman with another HR for LA. Dodgers going for the sweep now. Ohtani played.

Please NY, no more Fat Joe.

Freddie Freeman stands alone-HRs in 6 consecutive postseason games. Good for you Freddie.

More or less impressive than Reggie Jackson with three consecutive HRs on three pitches?

    Both are mind boggling.

Rematch between Game 1 SP’s tonight. It’s getting a little more real.

I heard Mookie Betts has been suspended from Game 5 for interfering with the Yankee fan's opportunity to catch a foul ball. Meanwhile, the fan gets a seat behind home plate tonight with free beer all night.

And no pitch count should be in play. Many months before another start. I was thinking it might be an old school pitching match-up but didn't exactly work out that way.

    Still an entertaining game.

Dodgers won because they played cleaner baseball. Little things matter. That is why they play a 162 game season to figure this out.

Agreed, the Yankees 5th inning looked like little league baseball.

Spot on for sure! One of the smaller in size Dodgers hit a HR down the LF line-the camera followed the ball until it landed and then swung to the batter who was almost to third base and followed him on in to the plate. So refreshing to see.

The next inning Soto hit one out to RF and after it landed the camera picked him up-he was about 4 feet from home plate on the first base line still beating on his chest like he was Tarzan….

Another thing to teach our young players-act like you’ve been there before!
