We need to suffer with coaches we currently have until SS is gone. He has proved incapable of being a JF protege and choosing an obscure coach that blossoms when at UF.

I have stayed clear because she’s almost certainly getting next year so piling on only helps create a death spiral. I actually support one more year, what she was handed was a steamy pile of poo, and we knew she would have a learning curve, then the injuries to our offensive players hurt too. But next year will be the decider for her.
Recruiting for next year looks good supposedly, she just needs to go out and find a coach that can explain to her how a college level offense works. If she does she could still make it here.

Agree about finding an assistant for the offense. I know she's a defensive-minded coach, but at some point UF needs to embrace that a good offense is a really good defense, too.

    Halftime vs Oklahoma: OU-1, UF-0.

I swear, nobody out there (for either team) looks like they know how to play this game.

I would call it glorified kickball, but that would be offensive to kickball enthusiasts.

    Final: OU 1-0.

It was the kind of ugly, physical game that is typical when both sides are fundamentally unskilled.

With this loss, UF is mathematically eliminated from the SEC tournament.

An entire 90 minutes and the Gators had ZERO shots on goal. They held OU to only 3 SOG, but C'mon, man! There's just no excuse for this much ineptness of offense, especially when the defenders are playing very well overall.

UF should have had multiple shots on goal, but they are just tremendously inaccurate shooters.

With 15 minutes & 12 minutes remaining there were excellent services on free kicks (both by Jones, I think) into the box about 6 yards directly in front of the goal. Bailey badly missed a header (wide left) and (I don't know who) missed another easy header (wide right). Both from right in front of the goal, at short range. Then, with less than 10 minutes to go, Bailey sent a nice cross in front of the goal that two attackers whiffed.

In the first half, Hauser took a free kick about 30 yards directly in front of their goal...which landed to the right of it, and behind it, nearly against the fence around the parking lot. Then, late in the second half, she took another which whistled about 5 yards to the right of goal. Again, these were both uncontested, take-all-the-time-you-want free kicks that weren't even close to being on-frame.

I’m sure there is talent on this team, just not seeing any improvement this season. The bottom of the sec isn’t good, making the sec tourney should be a simple metric.
Look I get it - previous higher was embarrassing. But really questioning the staffs ability to teach the game.

    end with this --
the schedule was handed to them on a platter --
beat 2 really bad teams at the end of the season - OK and Tenn and you probably make the SEC tourney.
You were given a gift, take advantage of it, OK game should have been your national championship game, leave it all out there, try anything, go down fighting - must win game - push forward, expose your backline, throw numbers at them. do something, you have to get an equalizing goal and then a 2nd for a win.

Tennessee is probably the best all around sports program in the conference. Mike Whites brother is the AD there . It’s the curse of the Whites

These 2 goals came in their single sec victory.

Let that sit in - they scored 2 goals!!!

    atrocious. Stunning.
Given our resources and facilities and academic history - 2 freaking goals.

We should try to hire James Armstrong away from Mississippi State. They're 16-1, 10-0 in the SEC and for a Florida soccer program that dominated the SEC for close to 20 years, there's no reason we should be this bad.

Actually 3 goals but who’s counting. All goals by MF. we need to be recruiting many more forwards than we have over the last several years.
