Kamala worried about gender bias instead of real issues. Paging through intelligence reports just weeks after she was sworn in as vice president, Kamala Harris was struck by the way two female foreign leaders were described. The reports used adjectives that, in her view, were rarely used to describe male leaders. This woman is barely fit to be a First Lady much less VP and possibly President. DEI bullshit is such a waste and a huge embarrassment to our country. No serious person should waste a vote on this nasty libbie. FYI…the study revealed no real bias. Thanks to Kamala there will be an extra training class though. SMFH https://www.nytimes.com/2024/10/25/us/politics/harris-racism-sexism-policies.html
To a lot of female voters denial of reproductive rights is a significant issue and unlike DEI it is a real issue with real impact. The OP uses red-flag buzzwords like ‘DEI.’ I’d suggest reading the article. it’s primary theme is Harris’s efforts to support impoverished new mothers, “including those in rural areas”, also her initiatives to help entrepreneurs in distressed communities access banking services to get started. But…. read it for yourself. And regarding the gender bias issue…. “The study found some questionable word choices but no widespread pattern, according to a senior intelligence official, one of five who requested anonymity to discuss the review. (None would disclose the words flagged by Ms. Harris because the reports were classified.)”. (No mention of “ the study revealed no real bias”) As far as voting, for me it’s more about ABT than voting for Harris. But this article is actually encouraging that Harris is genuine.
If any of you - who object to Harris as a potential president - can name three current female politicians you would legitimately and honestly vote for, for offices of governor, senator, or president, then perhaps discussions of gender bias would begin to disappear. If folks cannot be honest about their own biases. then it's disingenuous to constantly criticize others'.
