Seems like we have a new player stepping up every week, which is great news, because we all need some good news to take us away from the early miscues of this season. Like I have been saying all along, don't blame the players for our letdowns. We have plenty of talent to compete with the top tier teams in the SEC... And as the season progresses, we see more and more players establishing themselves as SEC quality talent. Here are five names that came up in this Hail Florida Hail article. There are only two names that are a surprise to me, and one of them is Jadan Robinson at linebacker. The other is Trikweze Bridges at Safety. Both of them have been playing lights out lately, along with several other players, but three more players that are mentioned in this particular article below... enjoy. Five players for Florida Football who have stepped up as the season has progressed
There are many more names that needed to be added. I didn't write this article, but if I did, it would have included several other player's in it. Yes, Baugh and Lagway would be well represented in that article.
I think the only thing the defensive coaches haven't figured out is how much time the second group of guys will get in games, because it seems like they know who will hit the field first in games. I also said that it seemed like more defensive players made plays than we had starting on defense, because it seemed like more than 11 guys from the defense were mentioned as making plays. Even Cormani McClain made a huge play (pick 6) in that Kentucky game.
Yep, and when some of them are not even starters then we know the depth is getting real, on defense especially.
