And, back to TARIFFS. Who was president during the 2018 - 2020 China Trade War involving escalations re: commodity and goods imports/exports?
Oh -- I know this one; the guy who is saying what a beautiful word tariff is. Try asking U.S. soybean farmers how much market share and money they lost back then to foreign competitors.

The "concept of a plan" guy should know better. Guess he's unable to remember his own administration.

Some sort of lol. You have no clue what I do or how I do it. I’m confident my math skills are fine. Weren’t you the guy/gal that was arguing over the top 1% with regards to tax revenues collected? Refused to acknowledge you were wrong even after given the tax foundation data?

Newsflash: tariffs do not involve some other country cutting checks to the US.
Inflationary costs passed along to consumers. Yet they cheer their orange god anyway.

Since you're so good at it, you do the math. We have $4 trillion in imports. To generate $2 trillion in tax revenue, what does the tariff rate have to be? Also, what effect would high tariffs have on the amount imported?

I would add that Trump had to bailout those farmers who lost export markets as the result of the retaliatory tariffs.
