Apparently you missed the debate when she clearly beat Trump.

With less than two weeks before election day, it's fair to contrast the two. That's especially true when someone posts a Harris "rant", knowing that Trump is the King of rambling incoherent "rants".

Jo adding to the comedy gold once again. I am surprised there was no mention about Russia. Might be slipping a little.

This makes me laugh. It's like having a Lamborghini that never leaves the garage. If you are highly educated, why not show it on this forum?

    Seems like a waste.

You speak in non sequiturs, sir.

Is my trick clearly not a thought of my own? What makes you say that? Just needed something to say, but didn't have a thought of your own?

I do understand your point. There would be no Republican I would vote for if Trump was the Dem nominee that I would be "happy" with. Acceptable sure, there are many, but not happy.

We all know about Russia helping the Trump campaign, and Trump campaign representatives coordinating with Russian agents in 2016.

Why would anyone refer to that here? Weird.

Since you're shifting this discussion from Harris to Trump, aren't you trying to stay current? Trump is currently publicly referring to the size of Arnold Palmer's penis. So since he's your esteemed leader, shouldn't you be even more acutely focused on that?

I would argue that she has run a stellar campaign, win or lose. She is NOT a great speaker like Obama and Bill Clinton are. She doesnt debate like Pete. She doesnt motivate like Shapiro. She doesnt connect like Walz. But she organizes extremely well, has been leading the democratic party well, and has so far administered campaign tactics very well. My opinion.

Bling, if everyone around here used their brain like you do or at least wasnt misleading everyone with their intentions then I wouldnt do the whole "both sides" routine. Overall, yes both sides are the same and both support their flavor of corruption and lies. I've acknowledged that Trumps baggage is so much so that we should have Kamala as our president. So Im not really doing a "both sides" that is comparing them equally.

Again, its about the people here and how they present their positions. You actually are thoughtful to both sides. You give lip service to both sides problems. Others, like jo, simply won't even speak a single bad word against Kamala. They are trying to portray her as a savior when we already had Trump once. We didn't die. Our democracy is still in tact. He said a bunch of stupid crap and frankly, if he didn't have Twitter I'd bet he is our president right now. However, its the fact that everyone around here wont simply call a spade a spade and Im just wondering why?

Maybe its because if you even say one thing remotely positive about anything Trump has done you are labelled and cast aside. Thats ignorant and not a characteristic of people who think they are so much smarter than everyone else just because they are voting for Kamala over Trump.

This is absolutely fair. If everyone simply came with THIS energy instead of "Trump bad, Kamala best". Or people who think Trump is such a boogeyman they can't post in this forum without mentioning him or have an honest thought about their own candidate without mentioning him. I wouldn't have much to complaing about.

Like I've said, Kamala should be president over Trump but everyone should say that while gagging a little. Her and Biden approval rating was absolutely garbage. She's not popular. Its like Billy Napier. She talks a good game but her results are putrid. Hopefully she can surround herself with people to make decisions for her.

This would be fair if we haven't heard the same thing since Biden has been in office and since Kamala was announced. I have yet to see a thread about Kamala's issues where anyone besides maybe 1 or 2 people on the left would actually condemn her or say shes not qualified to be president.

Put a respectable Republican with decent ideas up there and Harris would still be labelled the savior.

Fact is, we have two HISTORICALLY terrible candidates and one of them is unfortunately going to be the leader of the country.

Democrats need to prepare themselves for Kamala's massive defeat which is coming in less than 2 weeks. It was bad enough when Trump won in 2016. Female shoolteachers in Gainesville sobbing and wailing while bent over chairs or lying on the floor. This happened at the private school where Rich Baris took his kid. He had to bring his kid back home. Many Democrats aren't normal people anymore, they've descended into psychological madness.

A good start, but then you lost me when you used the term "putrid". Few have said Harris is the "best". But she is very qualified, experienced, competent and accomplished.

    I like your closing sentence, though . . .
"Hopefully she can surround herself with people to make decisions for her."

You can be SURE that Harris will do just that and Trump won't. And, this is a HUGE difference between the two.

Trump already hired "the best people". But they parted ways and are no longer supporting him, with many saying he's not fit to be President.

Trump will place personal loyalty to himself ahead of qualifications, experience, competence and accomplishments.

Give me the experience and competence offered by Harris any day over the incompetence, chaos and authoritarianism guaranteed by Trump from Day One.

See Bill Barr's assessment (below) of Trump's ability to get things done.

    Let's see...
She started off talking about how Trump is a convicted felon...but abandoned that move because it didn't poll well and her base is full of convicts.
Her campaign painted her as being a 'joyful warrior' but since that didn't resonate, she quickly abandoned it to scream about how bad Trump is.
She says she wouldn't have done anything different than Biden (a major TV blunder) and her command of the issues is superficial verbose nonsense.
As you heard from her word-salad speech with the OP and her boring presentation, she doesn't inspire anyone who's not already a hopeless liberal.
The truth is...the progressive media is running her campaign because she's their only hope to derail the person they hate the most.

How else would you represent this in words? Her approval rating only went up because shes the ONLY option available.

(BTW, the screenshot was randomly on March 2022 and I didn't feel like taking another one)

No one in the history of America has mobilized a Presidential Election in 90 days. Harris has. She’s gone from an underwater favorability number as VP to over 50% favorability which no Presidential candidate has seen in a decade. She’s a coin flip from being President. Your guy has been running for 3+ years and has half the country thinking the economy sucks and STILL is a coin flip from losing to a 90 day campaign.
