    Shocking news tonight. Growing up the Big Red Machine was my team. I can still rattle off the famed starting lineup. One of without a doubt, if not the greatest team ever assembled, imho.
    R.I.P. Pete Rose, the Hit King.

    Taken just yesterday, Sunday.
    Rose even took a pic alongside Big Red Machine teammates Dave Concepcion, George Foster, Tony Perez, and Ken Griffey Sr.

    So fun to watch jim perform. Never seemed to take angame, an inning or even an at bat off. One of tne greats.

    I had 3 of his rookie cards until my drug addicted uncle stole them and sold them. Mr. Rose was a great guy IMO. His competitive nature inspires!

    Maybe he now gets into the HOF but not before Joe Jackson. Maybe both at the same time.
