Don’t worry Jeff.. sometimes u have to shake your head. Some new posters here that could use some training
If I’m not mistaken Skink was heavily into BN, I got lots of grief last year when I was critical of him doing the same stupid things over and over (like this year).
Okay Clay is that any different when other posters say the same thing over and over in regards to (non fire BN) subjects? Just was saying he has some valid points and it’s not just some made up crap.
On a few runs, he has a guy, or two, or three, in the backfield. He has this jump-step that is a real gift.
In fairness, if you had read his in game posts yesterday, you would change your mind about "valid points". And sure, there are some other posters who beat the same drum. They just don't it over and over and over. During the game yesterday, Kentucky botched a play call. What does your buddy Okee say? "That's exactly the sort of thing Napier would do" except it took him a lot longer to say it. Sorry, but there is something wrong when a guy posts such incessantly negative crap. But defend away; that's your mistake, not mine.
In my opinion, there were two noteworthy stories from this game. George had aspirations to play as a tackle, but it wasn't to be. Instead, he's now at guard, where he impressively blocks two opponents, paving the way for Baugh's touchdown. Then there's McClain, once labeled by one coach as a problematic player with a poor attitude. Napier saw potential, brought him on board, supported him, and is now shaping him into what might become an exceptional player.
BTW, just saw that the play-by-play guy was Dave Neal of Jefferson Pilot fame. Surprising since he was so bad botching our players’ names and missing what down it was. Thought he was better than that.
I thought DJ was really good before the year started, but he's surprised me! Five passes over 40 yards--in one game--that's nuts! He does make freshman mistakes, but he will be alright. Kentucky has a very good defense that only gave up 250 yards of offense per game. For a freshman qb to accomplish what DJ did was exceptional. The playcalling is still conservative and predictable. With one minute and 30 seconds before the half, we should have been able to put up more points. Running up the middle is not a good utilization of the clock--it drains it! BN, to me, doesn't have a killer instinct. He mostly let's teams stick around and be in the game. I'm hearing talk about BN could retain his job. That makes about as much sense as a dingbat woman running for the highest office; neither of them are winners!!!
Was kentucky not stacking the box as much as other teams? Watched the game on my phone which for me is only slightly better than radio! Thank goodness for replay isolation
