Mets pitchers should have figured out by now throw strike one!
2-0, 2-1, 3-0, and 3-1 ARE NOT good counts to be in vs this Dodgers lineup.

I know they have been there all season but I’ve gotta say—I am way less than impressed with all of the neck tattoos on “today’s ball players”….

I don’t know if I should describe the amount of tore up a$$ my Dad would have put on me for such foolishness…..:emoji_confounded:

Today's youth do stupid things to their bodies like getting tattoos. Back in my day the kids did stupid things to their bodies like smoking cigarettes. Both are stupid but smoking is the more deadly one.

Yep—it all depends on how you were raised and how much your relationship with your parents meant to you. I’m proud to say mine meant the world to me.

Is it just me or does anyone else see the same thing. When Ohtani is at bat the electronic K-zone is pretty well adhered to by the MLB umpires-they call very little fringe strikes against him.

If they can do that for him why can’t they keep that standard in place for everybody else?

Things that make ya go Hmmmmm……….

I thought that he got a smaller strike zone as well.

Yep, if the whole baseball isn’t inside K-zone then it ain’t a strike! Good catch Lurk!

Ain't nothing new in baseball. With two strikes Ted Williams, Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle had strike zones the size of a postage stamp.

Mets beat the Dodgers 12-6. Yankees beat the INDIANS 8-6.

    Pretty entertaining games played yesterday.

  14. Switched from the Gator game to baseball literally right when Soto was coming to the plate. Playing with fire when you try to get guys to swing at that high fastball then don't throw it high enough.

I saw the pitch and started for bed before it was hit. HORRIBLE pitch.

That reminds me of an older comedian joke, "the guy was so fast, he could hit the light switch and be in bed before the lights went out."

Like choosing between Hitler and Stalin.

I guess I dislike the Yankees a bit more.

I know there are Gators involved--as a life long Braves fan I am thrilled to see the Mets lose!!

Can't stand either team left in the hunt.
