    Some questionable activities going on in the organ donor programs. In Kentucky, a man, declared dead, woke up as his organs were about to be harvested. Some medical professionals suspect that doctors are jumping to conclusions to get those organs out quickly and into the next patient. Even with the patient thrashing around and the original doctors refusing to go through with it, the company coordinating the harvest insisted that they were going to go through with the organ removal as soon as they could find another doctor. WTF? Little short on meeting the profits goal this month?

    the sad thing about this is this likely one-off case leads to hesitation for people to donate organs while over 5000 people die every year on the organ transplant wait list.

    What if the OrganEx system had been tried on Biden a couple of years ago? He might be running for a second term. Too late now, his brain's been dead longer than an hour.

    This gets complicated something similar happened to me. I was declared brain dead and I recovered. There were doctors wanting to harvest my organs but the team at Halifax decided to wait(The team included my wife and family members). If a surgeon had pushed my family would probably capitulated. Life is simpler on tv. Life and death are absolutes. The universe we live in is a grey scale.

    Interesting case, obviously they put the kid on ECMO to keep O2 going to the organs(including the heart I would assume) otherwise the heart would not have started back up hours later. The muscle would be dead.

    I’m guessing this was akin to a medically induced coma which gave the body time to fight off the infection and reverse the likely sepsis and acid base imbalances that go with it.
