yeah. In many ways it’s taking basic premise and adding a lot of filler. But it is pretty impressive how it constructs it and most of what is said is true. 3 minutes is more acceptable. Maybe the equivalent of a small forest fire of environmental damage.
You may want to play around with it. This was the most disappointing one & I agree it did what you said. The academic paper pod added poker analogies, etc. that weren't in the paper that made it easier to understand. & it really expanded on the fictional history I fed it. It even recognized subtle irony & made good use of it.
Pretty certain it is only using the last page rather than the whole thread as input. That explains why this one is pretty lame.
here's 1 that I think uses the whole thread....haven't listened yet https://notebooklm.google.com/notebook/07d39616-bc08-42e1-a9c2-90049f2dd0ee/audio
that was somewhat better. The substantive content is average but the first part does have some laughs. it got one thing wrong in saying Napier is in 2nd year not 3rd. still, this is pretty friggin amazing.
We have old folks telling these bad AI photos "Happy Birthday." I fear that we will not make it. I thought it was kinda funny when I saw that these are referred to as "Granny Traps." If you go into the comments, old folks, especially old women, will have someone reply asking then to send them a message. The profiles have names like Lt Major Col John Smith ret, and then someone's granny gets scammed out of her life savings..
