On the road, BIG BLUE visits The Swamp this Saturday night as an impressive 1 pt. fav! For the first time this year, Florida will play freshmen QB DJ Lagway in the #1 spot on the depth chart. For me, I'm interested to see how DJ performs, given the fact that he understands now he is our starter for the rest of this season. I'm also going to be looking for that same tenacious and formidable defense we saw last weekend in Knoxville. Both teams are 3-3 with only 1 conference win each, so this is a big one for both programs and I expect a competitive game, because of this. Gators: 34 Wildcats: 20
Vandergriff kind of stinks and doesn't seem like the college football world wants to admit it. They won't score much. Florida 24 Kentucky 13
If our defense plays with the same intensity as they have the last 2 weeks and the offense picks it up a notch, not making stupid mistakes, 24-14 Gators. If the defense drops off even a tad and the offense isn't efficient, 28-14 Cats.
I'm in the minority, but I was impressed with CBN's game plan and preparation for UT. I think he's moving it in the right direction and think we can snatch this game at home. We lean on the defense and don't ask too much of Lagway. UF 24 UK 17
I'm not worried about asking too much from Lagway. I'm worried about CBN's piss poor play-calling hamstringing Lagway and the offense.
I was initially going to go with something like 19-17, either way, with the way KY likes to muck things up. Frustrating offenses. But … It’s all in DJ’s hands now. There is no real model out there to shut him down. So I think that bit of unknown along with his talent will boost the offense, regardless of Napier. I have no doubt Billy will shrink the playbook with him and DJ will make mistakes and get a delay of game(s) or throw an interception. But I think he’ll make a couple of throws that will make everyone go …”DAAAYUM”… and make this a 2 to 3 score win. My guess … 34-16 Gators
Gators: 24 Stoops Troopers: 23 I will have to miss this one for the first time in a decade. Whoever bought my tickets, please yell loud.
