Yes. He at least would bring back some much needed swagger that has been missing from the team for years. He would bring an offense that is inline to what appeals to the high school system in the state. He would not coach “scared” like some other people we know.

So somehow some DC got fired up and ready to roll but the asthmatic arthritic chihuahua could only yip hoarsely. M&M getting hurt didn’t help but the OL is absolute cheesecloth. And the stupid procedure penalties

yes, every coach we play knows he is predictable. We all know he has called another running play when we lineup tight. Putting DJ in third and long didn’t help him, probably zero chance with full on blitz to convert a pass, even the patented behind the line of scrimmage pass Billy is known for and never works on third and long. another game where we had many red zone opportunities where we try to run every play to get in and don’t forget inside sweeps on third and long that my grandmother could defend. Heading to the bottom of the SEC.

    I disagree.
Chumlee is UT's coach. So, I don't give a crap what stupid things he does during games.
Billy is UF's head coach. I blame him for the simple stupid stuff/plays that happened during games. How much longer are you going to defend this guy for the boneheaded decisions that he makes?

Agreed. Exactly why I so much want him to be fired two weeks ago so we can see how well the team's offensive talent, and now DJ, can perform with a real offensive scheme and coaching. Fire him now!

I guess you missed the first half where we drove right down the field against that defense 4 times and only came away with 3 points.

Nope I need my coach to do better. He calls a run up the middle 1st and or 2nd possession and can’t adjust. His players can’t adjust. Burro should have hired a real OC

First off fantastic game Defense! If they keep that up we will be in the rest of our games. Watching BN press conference just reinforces for me that he just does’t “hate” losing and he calls the games that way. So close oh so close we should have won that game ugh

You folks have said it all. Kids fought their guts out. Best defensive effort of the Napier era. Just stunned, somehow it didn't swing UFs way. SMDH.

    Bummer.

I'm now convinced that the "scared money don't make money" quip was about our AD Stricklin and the UAA.

Proud of our players! Especially the defense. A tough environment and kept fighting without QB1 and RB1.

Our program lacks confidence. MOJO. Swagger. Expecting to win instead of hoping. Playing with a mindset of dominating. Imposing our will.

An excellent staff has to instill it and build it and then the players' own it.

It has to include winning games like last night's. So many lost opportunities over the last 3 years to bring excellence back to the program. Unfortunately Napier has only had 1/2 a team with no D. But it's showing some life now.

Can't look back. OPEN UP A CAN ON UK.

I hate it, but maybe you deserve one after the Driskell and Franks games.
And BTW the Franks to Cleveland pass was NOT a Hail Mary. He didn't heave it blindly towards a crowd of players in the end zone, it was a scramble that turned into a deep, deep post!

The last game I felt this bad afterwards was 1980, UGA.

    Just, unreal.

I officially give up on my last lingering hope that Billy could learn on the job and grow into the role like Dabo did. If he was capable of that we’d have seen some evidence of it last night. Put me into the group that would like to see him canned this week and name Armstrong interim head coach. Now, who would be acting OC?

He's so obsessed on proving hes à good OC and forgot his main duties as the HC. It's mind boggling.

It was a terrible spot, not sure why HBC didn’t push for a review.

I think Calaway is capable. I think Billy saddles him in gametime that limits his ability to get in the groove with play calling.

lsu and uga comes down to matching intensity, toughness, heart. uga was ready to fold these last 2 years.... but Napier blinked. LSU hates us lol.... and they have athletes. Beating UK comes down to playing disciplined football. And ole miss may be checked out. Same for fsu.

6 wins is doable... but I still want nape gone. Lol
