Joshua Moore Commits to UF

If Billy loses to UCF, Miami and FSU this year, no way he can survive. Fully expect a .500 level season and for him to be back next year

 

I've been pretty frank in my estimate of what has to happen (win more games soon) for BN to succeed at UF. Quite a number of "supportive" posters have done so more than once. There's not much in the way of deep concern, dire warnings or general dissatisfaction that hasn't been clubbed to death ten million times in these pages. If some new bombshell explodes, fine, talk it up until the cows come home. But the same old pissing and moaning can lose its charm after a while. Maybe that's why there isn't even more whining going on than there is. Or maybe most Gators are just more "optimistic" or excited about our prospects than others and find it more edifying to look forward than wallowing in someone else's misery.

 

But if we lose all our games he’ll get fired

Was always going to be tough for UF to keep him unless UF had a big season. Kid is from South Florida and a lot of people were surprised when he picked UF in the first place. If UF gets Kiffin things could switch again for this kid you never know until the paper is signed and then you don't know again.

Kid should have stuck with the team that has a future star at QB instead of the one starting from scratch next year.

 

I presume Tounkara is his replacement, and I have been pleasantly surprised by his highlights.

 

A kid that commits and decommits based on record is not willing to work to change things and wants to take the easy path. Now Ward will be gone and he will realize DJ was the QB to get him the ball. UM can’t replace Ward as. They lose many of their better players. Also, you are playing against weak talent in the ACC. SEC QBs would have made him a better player and prepared better for the NFL

 

But they are in the playoffs and it doesn't matter to a player how they get there. It looks good. That said, I won't be surprised if he flips back with the staff making your case to him.

 

likely decommitted due to the noise that Napierand staff would be fired. Most players want to know who their coach will be and have a bond with them before signing and with ESD…not likely a new coach would have that with Moore. With Napier turning it around and staying…who knows what happens.

It might just be Twitter noise but sounds like this one might not be done yet. Gator Dave and Silk both brought it up in pods yesterday.

 

This may be a dumb question, is he a take if Wilson or Ffrench flip to UF also? Idk the numbers or if he's just a take no matter what?

 

Good question because I notice we have 3 committed receivers and a nearly full class. Is 5 too many for this class? Some of us want another DT, OT. Another solid LB wouldn't hurt.
