If we play like we did the 1st half, we could win three. Next year might be tougher to win...

The two that stick out the most is UK at home and F$U because they are playing like a div II school in a P5 conference.

Already all have losses, but they do have more talent than us. Maybe you can steal one, but I have zero confidence in this opinion at this point.

Texas is possibly the best team in the nation, but have they even played anyone as of yet?

I think we can pull off 2 more wins and maybe with a bit of luck 3.

I think with our schedule so far and with whom we have lost two (combined 11-1), it is a bit difficult to figure out actually how good/bad we are.

The next two games will decide the season. If we go 0-2 BN is 100% fired and we all will no that.
If we go 1-1, we will probably end up with 5 to 6 wins and the whole season will be in flux still if we hit 6 wins and a possible crappy bowl game.
If we go 2-0, the season is going to be surprising and we are looking at a bowl game.

 

Yep, next year's schedule looks more brutal than this year's.

 

Some thread highlights . . . . . (all posts were prior to the UCF game)

 

If you overlook Kentucky’s flop at SC in week 2? they have been pretty strong since. Held Georgia to 13, lost by 1. Beat Ole Miss and had another pretty solid game against an OOC opponent. They have a defense that can stifle Georgia and Ole Miss’ offense. Can’t really call it an aberration when they’ve done it twice within a few weeks. They are legit.

 

Maybe FSU.
Kentucky is a stretch...but stranger things have happened.

 

Agreed, I think that UT is always on the table for us. It just seems to work out that way. My brother-in-law is a Vol and he hates Gator week.

 

At this point, barring major injuries I think 3 more wins (6-6 on the season) is a possibility, which didn't seem possible only 2 weeks ago, before playing Miss State.
I like us vs FSU
and think we go 2-2 vs UT, Kentucky, LSU and Ole Miss
and 0-2 vs GA and TX

 

I'd feel better about the future if the UCF game had ended at the half. Thinking that the Kentucky game will tell us what we really are.

Lose to UK and we might not even beat FSU. Because that game will probably be the Holes only chance to save some pride and they will be giving it all.

 

This team doesn't seem to have any fire in the belly, same for the coach. Most of them look like they don't know what they're supposed to do. Was coach wearing a short sleeve shirt? Only took 2 and a half seasons. Maybe we can get another 2 wins this year.

 

This right here is what I hope folks keep in mind. And last season's gauntlet was nothing like we're about to face.

Clowns have no pride. We beat them. They have already quit. They quit when the head clown let them and they lost 63-3. He will never get it back! Willie MacNorvell will lose to Billy Zook on Ron Zook field.

 

Shirley you jest. Texas is at least top five and should probably be #1.

 

Agreed, and 2 top end QB’s along with Sark! They will be tough to beat. UT is stout.

 

Huh...already doom and gloom for 25 and we aint even half way through 24...c'mon!
