I don’t know who is more laughable - Trump or you. There’s may be very good reasons why the cord isn’t plugged into the phone, security probably the chief reason. There's no problem with appointing a friend, the problem is appointing a completely unqualified friend to head a critical agency. Prior to his appointment as Director of FEMA Michael Brown was the head of an Arabian Horse Association. He had absolutely no experience in emergency management and to make matters worse apparently the Bush Administration also appointed other politically well connected individuals to senior management positions in FEMA. You're attempting to make sense of what was clearly a staged photo op and failing miserably. Yeah... she had her earbuds plugged into the plane..... listening to re-runs of Oprah, I'm sure. You know, while she's signing that important paperwork or taking notes from FEMA directors on the ground. Just admit it was a botched photo op and move on.

Trump didn't lower inflation. In fact, annually, inflation was 36% higher under Trump than Obama. And that's with the COVID year which lowered demand for oil, travel, and more, which kept prices very low.
