Stoops is a good coach. If you can win at Kentucky, you can win anywhere. A big time program needs to give him a chance whether it’s us or not.
Has the Laine Train gone off the tracks? Still think he is hands down the best and only choice to replace Napier? I will be interested in seeing UCF today and of course the following week. Malzan was a solid coach at Auburn. Fans just could not stand that he did not dominate against Bama, but who has? If they get rolling, it might be worthwhile to consider Gus. Now I will bring up a prior suggestion that infuriated many here and it is Jimbo Fisher. Think about it; if we included a requirement that he hire former Gators to his staff. Tebow for S&C, Danny as QB coach, Emmit as RB coach and Taylor Jacobs as WR coach. You realize a little humiliation can knock down the attitude of a big prick! And if things went south with the hire, the band could start playing The Candy Man Can over and over again till he resigned.
I hope that is the case, but I just do not trust that. If he were to get 5 wins, I think they may try to save 27 million. I hope I am wrong!
Really, sometimes you guys need to stop watching football altogether. This is the same Kentucky team that almost beat Georgia. They have a stellar defense and they stuffed Ole Miss. If they had an offense as good as their defense, they would be undefeated looking at a CFP invite.
Stoops has won 10 games twice in 11 years, but more often than not his teams have won 7-8 games per year.
Perhaps, but Ole Miss ain't winning the championship this year. I'm genuinely curious about where that thread went. I didn't open it cause I thought the premise was silly.
I'm losing complete faith in posters on here. This fan base would hate watching Mark Stoops win 2/3rd of his games at UF.
