Maybe, maybe not. Remember all SEC schedules are not made the same anymore. Ole Miss has a favorable SEC schedule and a charmin soft OOC slate. I think Ole Miss is more likely on the outside looking in at 9-3. Let's assume they lose to UGA and @LSU but win the rest to get to 9-3. In that scenario they probably have zero top 25 wins. I don't like their chances in that scenario.
They are definitely getting at least one more loss and that may keep them out of the playoffs, depending on whatever else does.
If Ole Miss went 9-3 with our schedule then they would have a chance to make the playoffs.. but not with the schedule they have
And losing to Kentucky doesn’t drive his contract as high as it could have been. He got smoked by Georgia last year and if he gets smoked again and then beat by LSU, he’s losing a little bit of shine over that
