    Co-defensive coordinator Ron Roberts told the media during the offseason that tackling wasn’t done at a high level in the first two seasons under Billy Napier. Those same struggles have continued in year three under Roberts’ direction; they’ve actually gotten worse.

    Special Teams in general have improved overall. Unfortunately that's not enough.

    When you are at the bottom of the barrel, did it have any choice but to improve? I guess they could have chosen to suck which would have been the status quo!

    There were always bright spots on Special Teams. The punting and kicking specialists were always good. But, I do agree that it was the organization of the unit that was at the bottom and had nowhere to go but up.

    More than anything, I don't think we have players or coaches on defense who want to hurt people.

    We play defense like seven on seven. Nobody is getting their jersey dirty.
