Here is Alexis’s interview after the match: Florida Gators Volleyball on Instagram: "Oh we’re really happy you’re back #GoGators"
Oklahoma in a road test will be a good challenge Thursday night: Last year, the sooners finished 11-17. In what might have been a couple of moves to improve the roster for SEC play, OU has welcomed in 2 transfers who have been making an impact so far this season, Kelli Jo Burgess 6'2" MB from Utah and Kari Geissberger 6'7" OH from Loyola Marymount. The sooners have opened 6-2 which is an obvious improvement over the 2023 team. OU's best player is Alexis Shelton 6'2" OH. She is capable of putting up big numbers. The match will be televised on the SEC Network+.
Many Kudos to Taylor Parks for stepping in substitution for Alexis. She has done a remarkable job in giving a high level of play as Setter. With her skills and ability,Taylor will grow into an elite player. But, Alexis Stucky is back and playing at an elite level!!!

Match Notes for at Oklahoma: vs._Oklahoma.pdf I'm expecting a hard-fought match against a much-improved OU team. The Gators will win, but I expect a rowdy home crowd in support of the sooner's first SEC volleyball match.
Campus Ride. I was on Stadium yesterday, and here comes CK on the sidewalk, talking on her phone and gesticulating forcefully. About 50 yards back, Mary is FaceTiming and laughing. I hope our ladies beat the Hellene out of Oklahoma.
I'm watching. Alexis Stuckey's ervice run won the Gators the first set. down 17-19 when she started serving, the Gators were up 23-19 when they finally broke her serve. AC & Kennedy playing very well, too.
This is not even competitive...we have major issues with passing and serving and now stucky is not playing
This is embarrassing. This Oklahoma team should be dominating the match and I don't want to hear about how improved they are by adding a couple of transfers. Our talent is not performing. The serving and hitting errors get worse, not better. The blocking disappears for entire sets. If stuckey is not injured then it makes zero sense to pull her. We are not prepared to play a road game in front of what looks like 800 people.
