He is one of my new favorites. He is almost always one of the first guys down the field ready to meet the punt returner. If they don't fair catch, he's ready to lay the wood.

I happened to stumble across this short video by a punter before the game.

Having watched the video, I started keying in on Underwood during punts in this game... and I'll be damned if he didn't punish a punt returner. I like the intensity of this dude. Keep it up.

I love the fire in Rocco. All effort, all the time. Wish we could bottle his passion and pass it around.

I like Rocco. The next head coach will really like his infectious attitude, energy and motor.

Plays like he knows that college is as far as it goes. Cousin of the Townsend brothers.

What is crazy is he could have gone D1 as a TE. Just an all around football player. He was an animal at Lake Mary High.

You can get on an nfl squad as a long snapper. It sure helps if you can do something else too, but specialists can make a roster with the right squad. He is pretty good.

Sure can. But it's a long shot.
According to the roster, he only weighs 228 which is light for an NFL long snapper they avg 250.

He’ll tell you how mad i was but he stuck to his guns that this is a good pickup and i would see in a few years and here we are lol

Was pretty confident he would give us a solid performance for 3-4 years....I know it's not a glamorous position but it sure can kill you if you don't have that guy

Maybe Rocco's the guy we need to coach the coaches. There ought to be a trophy for the best long snapper in the nation if there isn't already.

Kick offs and punts are great fun. Only time you get a full run at someone.

Saw enough of Underwood in high school to know he is a very legit football player.... had great hands on offense. I thought we might even get some TE work

Are you thinking of our kickoff specialist Matt Piotrowicz from 2001-2004? Used to lead the team in special team tackles. Loved to see him punish returners.
