I've been an advocate of occasionally playing with six offensive linemen or two running backs.

Anyone else notice Webb and Jackson in the game together yesterday, including one where Jackson got the carry for a nice gain

we played with two last year sometimes.

6 o linemen? We don’t have 5 that can run block, let alone 6. Probably better off with a center as the lone o linemen. Run some old Emory and Henry formations that Spurrier used. lol

I sure did, those are our best two running backs. Don’t get me wrong, Baugh will take over soon as the best but for now it is Webb and Jackson. Anybody else notice how the office moves when those two are in?

Johnson fan but Webb and Baugh, Jackson just are better. But coach sees them everyday so he sees something.

Have to disagree. Some just perform better than others without the ball in their hands. Johnson is one of them. I’m not talking about the block down field that was BS, but there were 2 plays where Mertz would’ve been drilled if he didn’t pick up the right block. I’m hardly a BN apologist at this point …but I can totally understand why he has so much trust in him being on the field.

I feel its another example of shortcoming for Napier - It appears Johnson is not RB1 and maybe Napier knows that too but it is his process, "earned his time", blah blah blah bs as to why Johnson is still RB1. I aint the smartest and never coached I will admit but I firmly believe u play your best players period no matter class, skin color, past stats, etc if u want to win! Etienne is in Athens bc of not being rb1 when he should have been. Napier may make these kids better men but not better football players and when you are getting almost $ 8Mil a year the boosters and fans want wins not a player going to a kids elementary school and eating lunch with someone who made the honor roll. So tired of Napier and his unwillingness to change anything. If he cared at all about making the team better the first thing he should do during the bye week is to fire the DC and make someone interim DC, there is absolutely no way it could get any worse on that side of the ball! Just spitting facts and getting some things off my chest. Go gators!

If you tell me the exact play, I can go back and see which formation we were in at that time. Sounds like a 20 or a 21 personnel set/formation. Or some other personnel formation that I didn't notice.

Enjoy them because they will probably transfer out in December.
