We’ve gone to Starkville with the much better team many times before back to the 70s and lost-even the HBC. I’ll take the W and hope/pray we can build on it.

Nine times out of ten, when a player doesn’t play as well as he did the previous season, he’s playing injured and you don’t find out until after the season.

Did anyone else notice how few fans were in attendance at the Mississippi State game? That place was empty even early on.

No situation will ever allow me to "take" a loss to fsu. Never, ever, ever.

Media talks about Gator attendance being bad if we have 88,000 in the Swamp. Ridiculous. That was bad attendance yesterday, and, I didn't hear it called out once.

One was when he had both his knee and elbow squarely on the ground, though, I believe?

Mizell was impressive for sure. The Gators do have some excellent skill players. But until we get top quality beef men in the trenches, it don't mean crap. You just can't be a winning program in the SEC without having high level players up front on both sides of the ball. And we're BAD in that respect.

That is it in a nutshell. All the short term money should go to getting elite OL and DL. Consistent wins will begin at that point.

I heard Russell saying this post game - but there ARE ways to work around that and that’s what these coaches get paid for. I look around college football and say “are there teams with bad lines that are still able to throw for 300 yards and put up some points?” Yes: so watch what they are doing and do that. You recruit Tre, mizell, tj, tank, badger, dike - CLEARLY the strength of your team and Instesd of spread it out and get it to them on slants and seams or in space- you bunch up the field, run slow developing play action and run 2 TEs? It’s literally insane

  18. We need to Florida to pay the referees as much as Bama does of we want calls to go our way. Just kidding.

No one can deny our issues are with the lines on both sides. We have coaching issues as well (duh). A confluence of inadequacies plague our team.

It baffles me that this staff, with two OL coaches, couldn't recruit more bigs. A bit inept, to say the least. Were they that bad at recruiting, or are they that bad at evaluating talent? Coaching? I do appreciate the bigs that are giving their all.

Yesterday was a rare day where the O-line was holding off the D fairly well. For the upcoming games they should use a long snapper so the QB's have more time.

I'm glad the kids got a win. It was nice to see some joy on their faces. I celebrate the win as well. But after more than a decade of depression, I demand change, he said in a defeated tone...

    Go Gators.
