Post Game Post -- FLORIDA 45 at Mississippi State 28

Trying too hard. We were a little better today than the past couple of weeks.

 

I agree about Baugh showing some real potential. He’s a big back that can pick his own path and is quick enough to bounce it outside. IF we had a good Oline I think he could be dangerous.

 

Jameis Winston...he got every opportunity and they brought in coaches and superstar players and the guy still shit the bed with multiple teams. DJU also isn't the #1 pick in the draft.

 

No shutout streak (our only one left) is still going strong!

 

Sadly, I think UGA is coming for that one.

 

I’m not being sarcastic here; I honestly would like to know: where were we better? And no kidding: you may have seen some things I didn’t.

 

I was aware of DJ's collegiate status. Jameis actually had a solid pro career and is still playing. He led the league in passing yards and INT's. He's a bust, but, not as much as the other three.

 

This guy gets it.

 

Mertz was on target a high percentage of passes- Lagway seems to get better every week

part of my issue with the defense is our scheme- we run 2 LB's and if they go outside the tackles the middle is wide assed open, so the the ball carrier gets passed the LOS there is not one there and we give up 15- 20 yards

 

Its just not in me to ever wish for a Gator loss.

 

yeah, pretty stupid to compare 2 top 5 draft picks with someone who won’t be drafted.

 

this team will score. Looking forward to it.

 

Really enjoyed the game and seeing success when UF had the ball I will never be a fan of Montrell and his stats back up my opinion. Offense looks pretty good, defense looks horrible.

 

Nawl, I knew what I was doing. They all had the same level of hype, just not the same level of football.

 

The good guys definitely have had better backs behind Johnson during this tenure. Loyalty in the game of football will hold you back. Ask the current and previous UF coaches.

 

Why do you say they can’t enjoy the win? Just as there were some good things the team did today, there were bad things. This team needs a lot of work and this is a message board to discuss both. It doesn’t mean whoever posts something negative didn’t enjoy the game, just like the positive posts aren’t in denial of the team flaws.

 

Castell has NOT played good this season

 

Okay, I have a correction to make. I have to admit that I was looking down at my computer and really missed that horrible blind-side block called on Montrell that called Mizell's TD back.

That was NOT a blind side block, and Montrell did NOT hit the defender in the face or head area. That was a bad penalty that should never have been called.

 

We won the game... better.
