Shawn Clark is entering the Billy zone. App St won’t put up with this for long. They like and expect better football around there.
I really like Mullen in the booth. I don't think he has the voice to ever be part of a broadcast's A-team, but his color commentary is excellent IMO. Despite all of his shortcomings as our coach, he clearly understands the game and I'm glad he's getting the opportunity to call them on TV.
You are accurate, I’m sure LS1. I just can’t get past his last year at UF. He was smug, arrogant and his departure was cowardly. I can’t help comparing his actions after being fired to those of Ron Zook’s. Zook sucked it up, stayed on and his last game was the win over FSU on the night and location Bobby Bowden Field was dedicated. He also left the program in much better condition than Mullen left Napier. Not knocking you for being objective. If anything I consider it a positive trait.
fwiw, this is his 5th season + the bowl game in 2019 as HC there. He took over when Drinkwitz went to Mizzou.
