If we have a coaching fee, we need a refund.

Supply and demand... they have a coach, product that demands higher prices. We... have an AUU and AD that are conflicted and paralyzed with too much power and not enough knowledge.

When I bought my tickets for the Miami and A&M game, I noticed an "embarrassing blowout discount" on my receipt. Strange.

UcheaT has never been shy about paying for the best talent they could buy without much regard to cost. . . when it was "not allowed" and now openly with NIL. They are the only team for probably 2/3 to 3/4 of an entire state. A tiny minority support Vandy and another tiny (local) minority support Memphis State. UcheaT has a couple billionaires supporting the program too.

Pay to play of nonprofessional student athletes seems to be a thing these days, and Tennessee has been suspected of doing this for years.

Yes sir . . . the only reason Fat Phil and UcheaT got away with all their dang cheating in the 1990s (and it was monumental) without a scratch was that snake snitched-out every other program he could. I'd say more but then you all might get the impression I don't like UcheaT. LOL! :)

States are passing legislation to block the NCAA from going after Universities that pay the players. Since this isn't THFSG, I'll leave it at that.

Schools in Georgia have legal cover to immediately begin paying their athletes directly, according to an executive order signed by the state's governor Tuesday morning.

Gov. Brian Kemp signed an order that prohibits the NCAA or athletic conferences from punishing any university or college in Georgia for "offering compensation, or compensating an intercollegiate student-athlete for the use of such student-athlete's NIL."

NCAA rules currently prohibit schools from directly paying athletes for the rights to use their name, image and likeness. The association agreed to drop its restriction on schools paying for NIL deals as part of a pending antitrust settlement, but that agreement has not been finalized. If the settlement is approved in its current form, those new rules are expected to go into effect at the start of the next academic year. The order in Georgia is effective immediately.

The Georgia order is similar to a law passed in July by the Virginia Legislature, which gave schools in that state the protection to directly pay their athletes via NIL deals without facing NCAA penalties.

Order allows Ga. schools to pay players for NIL

We beat Tennessee last year..that’s sorta inconceivable lol. If we somehow upset them in Knoxville this year..the rivalry should officially be over.

Yep, never mind the ever growing severely overpaid staffs. Just keep making the fans kick in more.

    Tennessee has
Tennessee has become what Florida was 15 years ago. Really shows that there is a way back.

I think we are going the right way with Golden. We still have O'Sullivan. Now, football...

We sold tickets. The number we sold will not likely occur again without changes first. Those changes aren’t to increase costs unless the goal is to drive down attendance.
