"We are committed to playing both players." Unbelievable. BN is in this mess because he has refuses to change his mind once he makes it up. So, in a desperate situation where he has nothing to lose by taking a chance on something/anything, he again makes up his mind before they even get on the bus.
Old Citrus County family of Stricklands. Farming people and Baldy Strickland was representative in Florida House in 50’s and 60’s
Unless something really changes and fast, this will be the longest season ever. Heck as bad as the 79 team was, they did compete. That squad was decimated by injuries. They gave an unbeaten Nole team a scare last game of the year.
Just think a non football mind such as my own would, sure, play both QB's, but damn, if one QB is hot or getting into the end zone, dosen't logic dictate staying with that kid until he stalls, and then put in the other? Everyone talks about 97, well SOS did not just "automatically" rotate, especially in the second half. I will FOREVER be grateful he went with Doug on that "famous" last drive!!!
Exactly... No one automatically rotated QBs if one was hot and the other was not. The fact that Napier's plan was so ill-conceived and rigid to the fact of the hot-hand QB is baffling to me.
I order a particular green tee off Amazon that comes in a plastic bottle. It is a running joke in my family about how tight the tops are. I'm not weak and it takes everything I've got to get them open. Watching him, I said, that doesn't look like green tea. My wife and I lost it laughing. Stupid story but made the whole thing more enjoyable.
