Finished the D review, it's every bit as bad as you would expect and James does not hold back. Our safeties may as well not be on the field, except Bridges who got ejected on the BS targeting.
Not really he goes out of his way to credit Armstrong for sound playcalling for having guys in the position to make stops. This is Roberts D and it's back to Toney with just baffling calls based on the situation. 4th and a foot and our D has 2 deep safeties, 4 more guys 5 yards off vs a 10 man aTm box.
I just watched the defensive review. Not only will your eyeballs melt and run down your cheeks, but the synapsis in your brain will be firing so rapidly and erratically that your brain will liquefy and ooze out of your nostrils and ears. I realize slow motion hindsight reviews can be somewhat harsh, but dear god is our defense bad. Not only do we generate no pressure on the QB, but our players in the secondary seemingly have no idea who to cover, what to do, or how to do it. How did UF, a school that for decades had slobberknocking defenses, fall to such a level? This is bad on a historic level.
