5 minutes in, let me boil this down for everyone not listening: Blah blah blah blah... (IOW- No changes)
The first 10min or so are just brutal, total nonsense. The first question from Edgar, whoa, he didn’t like that at all, watch his reaction.
Billy, the ,La of gator football. Lots of word salad. No substance as to how the ship can be righted.
If he were to get fired during the season, we definitely wouldn’t win any more games this season. Too much turmoil in the coaching staff. Players entering the portal. More of a mess than we have now. Too bad we don’t have a press conference with Stricklin.
He is gone, and he knows it. What's the point of firing him now? I don't see the benefit. Just so we can promote one of his assistants to interim head coach? Do you really want to create a situation where this assistant-if he does ok-creates support and controversy to hire him as head coach? I don't see anyone on this staff I would want as head coach. Billy is dead man walking. Let him keep working while we discreetly search for a replacement. We don't have to run him off right now in order to do that.
My only guess is they are waiting for the NCAA to hammer him for the Rashada fiasco. That would probably be key to him getting fired for cause and avoid a huge buyout.
