In what business does this happen?. Then everyone would say he was a quitter.

No. He should fight to the end and Florida should fulfil the contract. But the end should be very soon.

JW is good, blending is an art. There are better options for less IMO.

You are correct. I apologize. Enos is the only one with FBS head coaching experience. Both Roberts and Enos have had coaching experience. So you are correct, roberts has more experience

Different "buyouts." If Kiffin takes another job Ole Miss gets a few million. That's different than what they would pay if they fired him. Same for us, since we're firing Billy we'll be on the hook for a large buyout.

How about we pay someone an insane amount of money for winning. As in if you win you make far and away the most money BUT if you loose you're dollar general. These crazy buyouts and salaries for unproven non preformers is crazy.

It's why I was so quiet in the off season. I really didn't listen to Napier saying how much better we will be. Did he go to the same coaching class during the off season that Norvell went to? They both sold how great the off season was for respective teams and then the veil was ripped off at Game 1. I haven't really bought into the off season in a really long time. McElwain might be the last time I was glued in. It's going to take a new coach with a good season before I plug back in.

I really hate that the season has started this way. I get CBN will be better off financially than likely anyone posting here, but he is by far the most likable coach we’ve had in a long time. I was hoping he was the guy for sustained success.

The old conventional wisdom was 3 or even 4 years. Which makes sense if you have a barren roster it takes a few to develop the initial recruiting classes.

Transfer portal mostly did away with that waiting period. But even under the “old” standard Napier isn’t getting it done. Guy already had a losing record and year 3 already shaping up to be his worst and possibly the Gators worst record in 40 years.

I love the idea of hiring Jedd Fisch for our new head coach.

    He rebuilt Arizona quickly.

He is a UF alum that was a GA under Spurs and runs a similar offense to him.

I think he would love to come back home and resurrect this program much the way Spurs did.

I am 100% in support of firing Napier, but I have no confidence that we will hire a decent coach.
