I say it with no malice but it's for the best. For fans, for the players, even for him and his staff. Dead man walking is its own kind of misery. It's over, so don't prolong it or drag it out. The criticisms and frustration will only get sharper, and uglier, and sadder, and more needlessly personal. I honestly believe he's a good guy just in over his head. So for everyone's sake, time to make the clean break.
Horrible call, but it didn't matter. Ditto with the targeting call to the chest by the Aggie defender. Not sure how either was considered targeting.
and fumigate! Not talking over the counter stuff either...I want fine aged bird beak twisting 1970's DDT and Chlordane..
from what I can understand from the announcers explanation targeting doesn’t have to do with the victims head. It’s targeting anytime the defender lowers their head and makes contact with the crown of their helmet. Even if they just hit the thigh. I learned something new tonight.
Somebody who wants a few clicks and some attention on Twitter/X. Highly doubt those who could would be discussing this with someone they know will run straight to Twitter/X. Just sayin' . . . However, we'll hear a lot trying to jump out and be the broken clock that's right twice a day.
Its a shame there isn't some great...I mean top 3 coach of the last 15 years sitting there available to step right in...Bueller? Bueller?
I don't believe a call like that has ever been made before. This is the precedent that will be used to justify it in the future which will inevitably lead to college flag football being the only variety played.
Well at least our guy touched the offensive player with his arms. That dude straight up head-butted him in the chest. That one is more justifiable in that it was at least a shot to the upper body.
Why was Jesse Palmer and Joe tessitore ragging on us the whole game. I can understand being critical of the team but they seemed to go out of their way to make jokes about it including the fans
