Just waiting for this misery to end. Gator Nation deserves so much better than this. Billy really should just resign. Taking another $25M after driving the program to new lows and destroying the Gator brand is unconscionable. My twins are freshman at UF and I was so excited for them to experience the Swamp. They have been so hyped to go to the games. But 2 out of 3 times, they left early with their friends because Billy's teams are clearly outclassed and not even competitive. Today they stayed through the delay, the pouring rain and well into the 3rd quarter cheering this team on, but Billy is so inept that what little hope was there was wasted faster that it appeared. He has to go ASAP.
Listening to the radio interview, and he sounds exactly the same as he has every time. You could replace these circumstances with almost any other loss and his cadence, tone, and coach speak are basically identical.
We certainly can beat FSU at this point. It would a contest of futility, but that is besides the point. We have a chance against UCF and Kentucky. Even in this game we had the pick six, and at at least two times where TAMU’s possession was extended when it should not have been had we had a poised team and coaching staff. Each time the extension led to scores. That is 17 points right there
BN sounded really beaten up and defeated on the radio interview he just gave, I think that could be the last time we hear him as Gator coach?
I want to part ways now. Not because I hate him. I don't. But we don't need to repeat the scene of our fans booing him. I'm not criticizing any one for booing, but it's just not something we need to see week in and week out and that is what is going to happen from here on out.
