There is nothing left to hope for. Soon he won't be able to recruit. The program is dead in the water with him at the helm. So much for hiring a "process" guy. Amazing that he got this huge budget for staff and manages to do less with more.

 

He would have to care enough to do that…..obviously he doesn’t care enough or he would have hired better assistants or at the least an OC!!!!

Pell was doing to Florida what Bear Bryant was doing to Texas A&M his first year. Burning down the barn to get rid of the rats. We all loved our Gators led by Doctor O (Larry Ochab), but we knew we sucked. It was sort of like Mets fans in the early sixties.

But Pell had an 8-4 record in 1980 and should have been 9-3 if not for our DB falling down and allowing Lindsay Scott to break our hearts...

 

Most likely a Ron Zook scenario where they announce he is fired, but he finishes out the season or one of his interns do. (won't make a damn bit of difference either way)

 

I was there...and even Dickey had an overall winning record.

I have held out hope since the Napier hire but this game painfully shows the team is regressing not progressing,lack of development, our defense is slow, and the same 5-6 are all that is called. SOS for interim coach.
