Bottom line, we need a change. We've seen enough to know BN is not the answer. It's now not a matter of if but when. I suspect that question is being discussed already. Unfortunately for us Gator fans, we will have to endure a string of losses until the hammer is dropped.

Billy has said he likes where the team is off the field, so there is no culture change coming, he's changed it to what he wants.

This is the team he has put together, he seems pretty ok with it, in his mind we are just a whisker away l, just need to clean a few things up.

I wish I was joking, but that's his mindset.

"You gotta set the tone" - shoresy

No one on the team us setting the correct tone, that's on BN.

I appreciate the sentiment about today, but what does beating Samford tell us about whether or not we have any hope? This is a game our starters shouldnt play the second half, historically. Yet, they likely will be in deep into the 3rd, if not the 4th because it’s a dog fight. I would LOVE for this to be turned around. I love the man Billy Napier. He is a high character guy, and one I think young men should look up to from that perspective. But he is not an SEC coach. He could be at some point but much has to change. Will eat a slice of humble pie if I’m wrong. Gladly! Either way GO GATORS! 10-0 or 0-10, I will be watching every time they’re on! And proudly wearing the orange and blue!

Yep, year three is all the patience I had and I think that’s a ton of patience.

Yep, it should be illegal to schedule this game and those Samford kids should be able to sue if they get lifelong injuries. There should be a sanctioning body to protect kids from this farce of a game…… I hope we win.

I know this thread is about Nicky’s comments about Billy, but there was a hilarious exchange last week on GameDay. Saban was discussing some coach and said he wanted to hire him as an assistant, but they didn’t have enough money. Pat McAfee chimed in that was because they were paying the players too much.

Saban look flabbergasted and didn’t know what to say. It was pretty funny.

Saban was just being nice. I don’t think that he meant by year three. I think he meant it has to be done in year 3 because that’s where we are right now.

It's more than that, fact is they don't care about losing.

Yeah, Saban knows that ship has sailed, he's just reading from the teleprompter.

Have we ever been this bad, for this long? Even the east Division championships somehow felt similar to the Bucs winning the NFC South the last few years.

He also said he didn't see the potential for explosive plays from Florida. Wonder if he will reconsider now.

Addazio's comments about the O line were similar to Sabans when he said he doesnt see the urgency and toughness and they need to learn to close out a game.
NIL makes it a lot more difficult for a coach like Urban to come in and take no prisoners trying to change the culture

You’d be surprised. I think great players like that kind of environment. What happened in JAX was an outlier, IMO. Urban just wasn’t a good fit for some reason.
