Why not just let our best OL player Barber be the starter every play and our second best OT by PFF grade Devon Manuel play RT. What other team worth a damn against a ranked opponent is shuffling in 8-9 guys on the OL?
Are you not aware of the clip of George completely loafing after the INT, making absolutely zero effort to run down the play? It's gotten national media coverage... to name this guy a captain is ridiculous.
Maybe we can fix our right-side OL problem. I wonder if it's legal to play two guards and two tackles on one side and just roll that way on every play.
If this isn't a defining example of the "everybody gets a trophy" mindset among the Gator coaching staff, I don't know what else would be.
It would be boring to have the same captains every week for every game. What else do we want to complain about?
