Was he a good recruiter like the Zooker? Was he an offensive genius like Mullen?

With a name like Fuchs, perhaps he is here to do the needful.

Hey Billy, we don’t have many basements in Florida. But if we did, it would not just be those in their basement voicing concern. You appear satisfied with losing. You have lost all but one game to our rivals the last 3 years. You have never had a winning season at UF. You have one of the worst 3rd down offenses in all of college football. Your offense is low scoring and a low scoring offense can’t win in the SEC.

Wolf did take over the program after WW2 so I'm guessing the program was in shambles so at least he had an excuse. I believe other schools like Georgia were able to keep their football players in school and not off to war...I've heard that before but not sure if it is accurate.

Growing up in Gainesville I envied the kids who had basements.

He just wanted the $50m contract. That was the process. Nothing more. It's been achieved. He doesn't care about wins and losses anymore.

    Me too.

But that was Pell's first year, after he took over a complete train wreck. His second and third years were very different.

I'm not going to abandon ship, as we have a long season ahead of us. Perhaps Miami has a really good team.

    But...

I think losing to UCF will do it.

True, but with his money, he can easily afford a custom designed, 8,000 SF, cast in place concrete basement with four car garage to house his $500,000 car.

And watch Da U play NC State and lose. That would really be a gut punch

Fuchs was part of the problem that brought us this mess. Don’t expect him to fix it.

While I’m at it let’s talk about the Swamp from a Facilities standpoint. Is it too much to ask to scrape last year’s bubble gum off the concrete and pressure wash? If that is too much to ask, is it too much to ask to have someone go around and empty the trash cans?

Please tell me if I’m being unreasonable.

UF needs to stop giving unproven coaches 100 year/billion dollar contracts. It gets difficult (and expensive) to keep firing these guys.

The word has probably gotten out that we are an easy mark for unproven coaches to hit the lotto.

We were both super optimistic and excited and willing to take heat in defense of Billy. Now we're in the same boat of feeling betrayed and lied to by that HC. CBN has officially entered the worst UF HC in my lifetime territory, and I was born in 1980.
