I'm upset with Hamas and Israel. This is not a binary issue. Israel got caught spying on us just a couple years ago. You think we should just ignore that?
Agree, how can anyone say this has anything to do with Harris? After failing in her role handling the border crisis, Joe and his cohorts were not about to give Harris any more responsibilities of any consequence. Add in the fact Harris has been out of the loop campaigning over the last month or so, it is completely unfair to pass any blame on Kamala for these events.
yeah, I think it’s terrible, it’s just that I’m not dumb enough to blame Israel. Anyone blaming Israel and not the terrorists is an antisemite in my book.
I think he is twisting the 30+ Americans killed when Hamas attacked Israel as being killed BY Israel. He probably blames the U.S. for the deaths on 9/11 too.
Netanyahu is to blame for his failure to negotiate their release. He’s using their continued captivity as an excuse to persist with his war crimes. These hostages should have been released months ago.
Call me crazy but I prefer a leader who can write a condolence message that isn't a completely unhinged rant about himself and his political opponent.
So you are talking about something that happened 57 years ago. OKay, well Israel apologized and paid reparations to the US and the families of those killed during the Six Day War. Both sides agreed that it was a mistake and misidentification of the ship by Israeli armed forces.
They might be alive and released if Netanyahu and Trump weren't conspiring to not give Biden/Harris a win before the election.
As I said yesterday, this type of attitude coming from Biden and Harris is unhelpful as it only emboldens Hamas: Joe Biden Criticizes Netanyahu for Not Doing Enough to Secure Hostage Deal (townhall.com) President Joe Biden criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his so-called lack of urgency in securing a hostage deal with Hamas terrorists after six hostages were found dead in Gaza this weekend. On Monday, Biden accused Netanyahu of not doing enough to finalize a deal with Hamas to release the hostages it had been holding captive for nearly 11 months by the Palestinian terrorist group. He and Vice President Kamala Harris met in the White House Situation Room to discuss a deal that would release the remainder of the hostages. Biden said both sides are “very close” to a ceasefire and a hostage release deal. To put into perspective, in March, the president threatened to withhold weapons if Israel ignored the Biden Administration’s “red line” and invaded Rafah. At the time, Netanyahu insisted that Rafah was one of the last places Hamas could be holding hostages, adding that he would invade the region with or without the Biden Administration’s blessing. When will the Biden administration along with Kamrade Kamala Harris, the one who wants to be the next administration, learn that it isn't possible to get Israel to capitulate and lose a war that they have vowed to win since day 1 of the October 7 Hamas evil attack on Israel? Many times, a hostage agreement tied to a cease fire has been shot down by Hamas after everyone had gotten hopes up for freeing the innocent captives. Having 6 shot in the head on Saturday shows the only way to beat Hamas is to wipe out their fighting force and win the war. Don't expect any remaining hostages to come home alive unless the IDF frees them in raids which has happened a couple of times. You just can't negotiate in fairness with the Hamas terrorists and the Gaza people bent on the destruction of Israel with their river to the sea demands.
Oh. My bad. Who knew you were talking about an incident years before my birth, that even the US govt recognized as an accident? Thats all you got?
If I was only talking about that then it would make sense. You're the one that only decided to focus on one thing. What is the other thing that I brought up?
Hostages' families praise Biden's comment that Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure release From CNN’s Eugenia Yosef and Lauren Kent The Hostages and Missing Families Forum praised US President Joe Biden’s comment that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not doing enough to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas. “The Hostages Families Forum commends President Biden and his administration for their actions and determination to secure the release of all 101 hostages. We urge Prime Minister Netanyahu to demonstrate similar resilience, determination, and commitment to the lives of the hostages,” a spokesperson for the families forum said in a statement Monday. “If we needed further proof that Netanyahu is thwarting the return of the hostages – we got it from the US president,” the spokesperson said in a separate statement released in Hebrew.
