We need more Trustees from London! I believe I may be qualified with the following credentials: Majored in Building Construction Dropped Calculus just by stating “This has to be a mistake I’m in this class” Finished in the top 3 of the revered Mud Bowl or whatever outside of Tolbert Hall dorm. Two time runner-up for UF biatholon (drinking beers from both hands simultaneously) Questioned why I had to take Physics by stating I don’t care why or how high balls bounce; God designed it that way and I’m ok with it.
Crazier things have happened. The people that put the president in place might do that shit themselves.
I was going to post an open letter to Scott Stricklin to do the right thing and step down. He has turned us into Mississippi State. For the sake of the University please resign.
The scandals involving his hires in women's basketball and soccer should have had him on thin ice if not dismissed already. But you simply can't fail TWICE at hiring football coaches.
1. New full time president 2. send Stricklin packing 3. Hire new AD 4. New AD hires new HC if CBN is let go.
He didn't back himself into a corner. What do you expect the guy to say? All Athletic Directors back their coaches until they can't. They would be fools not to.
There is no sitting UF President.....only an interim who wants to retire ASAP. Strickland was largely a media AD in various positions; not worldly Gator baseball is Strickland's success he uses to tout immunity at his position The idea that UF cannot afford Napier's buyout is absurd; can be done instantly Napier claims no more excuses, "and we are gonna have to work"; what in the hell have they been doing in practice all summer long??!! This season is only going to get worse; Napier cannot coach or call an offense. Remember, we have 2 OL coaches, 2 DC coaches, no OC, no ST coach. Napier is a fraud.
I just don't see how he can show up to work everyday having put the athletic association into this financial mess for no good reason. Napier's potential buyout is so far out of line with anything we have had before. Napier: $26 million Mullen: $12 million McElwain: $12.9 million (negotiated down to $7.5 million) Muschamp: $6.3 million
