I've tried to adopt the idea that a football season below my expectations is not reason to feel down. It's just an absence of something good. Which is what it should be.
I've tried. I really have.

 

I watched the first two drives of the game and knew we were cooked. Stopped paying attention at that point though others kept the game on.

 

I enjoyed college football yesterday. It’s sad how bad uf is now but these things ebb and flow. Don’t let your team being bad destroy a whole hobby for you lol. But seriously Uf is so bad…

 

Where do we get two? Samford seems like the only sure one, and they hung 50 on us last time we played them.

A subset were but honestly they were mostly just openly joyful the whole game. It sucked worse than them being confrontational. It’s like we were running a day spa for cane fans.

By the way, no other school has the right syllables for “it’s great to be a…”. UM tried it and it sounds ridiculous.

 

I'm pretty much there. I'll enjoy the good times if we ever have any (in football) again. And I don't sweat the bad times anymore. Looking forward to basketball season, where we at least have a competitive team and a competent coach.

We are the University of Florida. We should be able to get a 14-year-old at DC fairly easily. Maybe we should pay the assistants a salary and give them some UF trinkets.

I hope we get a real (competent) athletic director, and soon.

Truth is, i was on Napier's side until yesterday.
What we saw yesterday was so bad. The play calling on 3rd down in particular.
