Urban as HC Tebow as S&C recruiting coord...and circumciser if needed Spikes as LB/DL coach Percy as wr coach James as ST coach Pounceys as dual O-line coaches who actually get results. TE coach...ugggh...uggh...Im at a loss here.
I’m not sure Urban’s style will work anymore. He lost a lot of gravitas during his 1 year NFL experiment. That said, at least he is merciless, win-first determined, and experienced.

His 'my way or get out' style worked when players had no freedom of movement, now it will have everyone in the portal, he tried to be Mr Tough Guy in the NFL and got laughed out of the league, the time for coaches like him is over.

Yep. That’s the gamble with Urban. The next hire needs to be someone who has absolute proven success winning, who has clear success recruiting talent at this level, who has gravitas to pull talent from the portal and high school, and the charisma to pull money from donors. No more guesses, no more finding the “next big thing”, we need proven success. We have become a desperate program.
On a farm when you raise an animal and are ready to get the meat from it you take it to be slaughtered. Some people don’t like to use the word slaughter, so they say you are taking it to be processed. I think this sums up Napier’s “process.”
I know this must have been tough for you. You were one of the few that really tried to see the best in our program, fought posters all summer, had perhaps the most faith in Napier and his promised rebuild. I admired you for it. I basically took the position that I had heard enough BS, I’d wait to see what the product was on the field. Now we have seen it — Same things all over again—a junior college defensive scheme, a high-school offensive scheme with predictable, banal play calling, and with lines on both sides who were overmatched in every play. Embarrassing on every level. This mess falls entirely on Stricklin and his self-imposed mandate to experiment on his hires. He has lead our program to its worst state that I have ever seen.
And sadly that's about it folks. I thought the Spurrier era would have spawned a lot of good Football coaches, but I think Fisch is the only one that is a HC at a high level program.
Thanks. Bell isn't happening. Fisch is from the same area of Jersey I'm from. Next coach needs to have one or former alumni on the staff. Always good to have coaches who really understand the culture, expectations here.
