Good news is that if we can survive this stretch, we are expanding our depth with all the minutes people have to play. And probably building some really good vibes on the team.
Kira hutson TikTok post of her and stucky...says unfortunately we are still not cleared to play.....how is it neither is cleared yet we are reading stucky is coming back for conference play? Also wasn't there a post implying kira may take another redshirt? Does cleared for play only mean game time but they can practice? Really stinks not getting any information on players you follow and want to see back on action. Very confusing and often contradicting...that being said, we won't know anything about Kennedy till the day she suits up again.
CMW said after game "As proud of a performance as I have been fortunate to witness… To run a lineup that we have never practiced, and have the players respond against a very well-coached veteran team playing on their home court. What I saw was Isabel Martin, Alec Rothe, Jaela Auguste, Amaya Thomas, AC Fitzpatrick, Elli McKissock, Emily Canaan, Trinity Adams and Taylor Parks all picked up their energy, and played with a new competitive edge after losing the first set (19-25), where we lost the “no. of digs” in the set, NCU 14-FL 6. For the match: Final Dig battle: NCU 32-FL 31. Also in the service game we had 11 Aces and only 7 errors. Big improvement in the service game, compared to the middle season of last year. The work shows thus far.

Gators get it going, winning the 2nd set 25-18 and the 3rd set 25-17. Leaving Colorado undefeated, showing some grit and teamwork, getting several players lots of quality playing time. Hopefully we get some of our injury ladies back real soon. At home for the next 3 matches - USF of Friday at 7 pm, Southern Indiana Saturday at 4 pm, then Ohio State Sunday at 4 pm on ESPN2!!!
We win the match 3-0. Isabel was hot tonight. (both ways) Good job by Taylor. Isabel-16 kills AC-12 Alec-8 Great step up by everyone.
I would bet Mary would be as proud of this weekend’s efforts as almost any in her career. Yes these were matches we should win, but to go in without your best and most important player with two of those matches on the road, then losing your second best player mid weekend, playing two matches with a makeshift lineup, and still winning all three is a big deal.
Ladies showed real grit in all three matches; especially in the first two matches. They went down in both matches in 1st set in front of “hostile crowds”, then came back to win the next three sets and win the both matches.
Everyone is stepping up nicely while our AA right side( Stuckey and Martin) is on the mend. Parks and Rothe are balling. Jmo
