This is the saddest thing I ever read about Florida football

 

It was pathetically amusing watching our punter warming up on the sideline as ScUM was getting ready to kick off to us after yet another TD.

 

You should caveat that by saying “in football”. Other sports are still doing very well.

 

I think so, but I don’t think that will happen. I give us very little chance against A&M now, though, and I had that squarely in the win column a week ago.

 

It's mind-boggling that after all the build-up and hype about "surprising people this year" and "work ethic" we ruin our 2024 chance against Miami by rolling out a huge shit grenade in front of our own fans. This is a terrible football team. Why the hype?

 

They could have given the fans the finger today for all we know since everybody because the Gators were getting blown out of their own stadium.

 

It’s strange, any level headed fan knew this was going to be a stressful season with this schedule. Yet here you had insiders generating this false narrative that we were going to surprise people. What a dumb strategy. Miami had the motivation of an unranked underdog today, not us. This staff should be ashamed for not having these players prepared and for embarrassing the fans who turned out big time in the swamp.

Somebody is writing a check for $20 million soon. This really sucks. An entire season blew up in one afternoon. Well, we had no lines before yesterday either so I guess it was over before it started.

 

I’ve often wondered if you can just demote your head coach and let Calloway or some take over. Like tell him to go stand in the corner. Both lines are inferior though so I doubt that would help much. We are a couple years from building lines so sit back and don’t expect too much very soon.
