Here's the saddest part for me.

Every coach since Meyer had one "thing" that was the chief cause of their demise.
1. Muschamp: Couldn't get an offense
2. McElwain: Couldn't recruit and lost Muschamp's defense.
3. Mullen: Couldn't make the necessary decisions regarding staff and snaps, and refused to recruit.

When it comes to Napier, the whole package just isn't very good. There is nothing to hang your hat on. It's just a bad football team with the occasional good player/play sprinkled here and there.

 

Got some game threads up for other games, FWIW. Might help some to take your mind off today's Gator game.......

Like most Gator fans I was looking forward to an improved team and hopeful to prove the nay sayers wrong. Well nuts. His play calling remains pitiful, still can't provide a DL or OL worth beans, his losses are piling up, he has done in 3 years so much damage to this program we are just about rock bottom. If our AD had any guts he'd fire BN on the spot but I'm sure our AD is concerned for his own job and rightfully so. Since the 90's this is as bad as it gets for a UF program. Essentially we are not just irrelevant as a football program, we are homecoming game worthy. Let that sink in.

 

Um, are you bringing the pitchforks or the torches?

 

The mood has shifted on this board. Lol. I think this is the realization phase.

 

They have to want to first.

 

Not a lot of positives to take away from this game, obviously. For me, the big difference was our offensive line couldn’t pass or run block and our defensive line couldn’t get any pressure on their quarterback at all. It all starts with the big uglies on the line. It’s gonna be a long dreadful season.

 

S.O.S. use to mean something special at UF. Now it has not only reverted to its more traditional meaning but also Same Old Sh*t.

We need a major roto rooter job from AD down to all the special assistants.

In the new landscape of college football, if we aren't winning now, we are losing our best players to the portal every year. And if we are losing our best players to the portal every year, it is hard to get back to winning.
