Does anyone have legitimate faith that this administration from top down can make a good hire?

Not that my opinion matters. but after the BN hire I thought well ok, maybe. After year 1 I thought no, he ain't the guy.
It sucks to be right in this case. I really hoped he could turn the corner. He can't. He's in over his head, won't admit it and make the right hires to correct his short comings. I think it's arrogance.
He's a chump. He should be fired today along with SS.
Let this fool lose 9 -10 games this year, all the decent players will bail and no recruit worth a damn will come here, regardless of the cash thrown at them. His buy out is cheap compared to the repercussions of letting the village idiot be the mayor of the town.

 

The game was over after fifteen minutes so technically we are way ahead of schedule.

True, but it was the intangibles that drove me crazy. There were the weird stuff he would do like dress up as Darth Vader or be part of an on-field brawl, to his reluctance in getting rid of Grantham, to the major breakdowns during huge games. Keep in mind, he wasn't even going to start AR, it was EJ's team if we hadn't fired him. He had no desire to recruit and given NIL and the portal, it would have been worse under him. I would not be surprised that Mullen ultimately would break dozens of NCAA rules, ending up costing us the football program with a death sentence.

If we fire Napier we fire Strcklin. I also recommend gutting the entire UAA, which are mostly Foley holdovers. We need people committed to UF WINNING, not yes men/women who balance the budget and are affraid of the NCAA.

Mullen deserved to be fired and this recent pro Mullen sentiment is annoying. Anyway, anyone kinda feel like Rob Sale is Billy's Grantham?

 

Too much in state talent for it not to be. And it pays well. Just have to be smart with the hire.

 

When he was announced I watched one of those Louisiana junior college games and I developed an opinion about Napier. Unfortunately this opinion has not changed one iota.
