Napier needs to finish with at least 6 wins for donors, fans and recruits to have any sense of excitement or confidence

Given the likelihood of that is low what do we do…

Ride Napier in 2025 with no NIL $, no donor $, empty stands and likely bad recruiting? Literally delaying the inevitable

Hire another mid coach, which may get a little excitement but we’ve all seen that song and dance. Who will donate to that?

The only real option is to dish out like $100m to Urban. He says no, go to Kiffin. He says no, I’m not sure where to turn that would get excitement back. Maybe Kliff Kingsbury?

 

I’ll be at the next game. I really wanted CBN to be the guy, but this is a beat down at home with three years of recruiting and portal.

 

This experiment has to end. This is not Gator football of old, BN has morphed us into Vandy. I do not see more than 5 wins this season and that's being generous. With Lag, our offense will look better but our D is atrocious. Lag can't change that.

The biggest question is does BN last the season. Truthfully, our AD needs to go as well for stealing money from UF by giving BN such an undeserved lucrative deal. This season is essentially over sadly. Many of us wondered what this team would be like and now we know. Heartbreaking.

 

The DT and Pup were the only ones showing anything. The blocking schemes often looked like they are asking our OL to do things they are not quick enough to do against a speedy defense.

 

We have to overcome the adversity on the field

 

My biggest Takeaway from this game is that both the offensive and defensive lines are terrible. I said it before it all starts with a big uglies. And I thought to Billy realize that and beefed up over the off-season. Apparently not. This is gonna be One long, ugly season

Napier owns this.... his own words.... I finally have my pieces in place. This is the best team we have had in three years. He finally has the coaches that he originally wanted.... he shouldn't be the coach next week....

5 wins. You are very optimistic. The only way I see us at 5 wins is Miami is the best team we face all year. That might be true, no way to know right now but Miami looked great on both sides of the line.

I remember getting blasted by this board in the past for mentioning Kiffin. Now, we’re probably not even attractive enough of a job for Kiffin. Unfortunately BN’s failure here only sets the bar even lower for the next guy. It’s a terrible situation.

 

Not sure where those wins are coming from, last time Samford was here they put up 52.

This game by itself will not determine Billy’s tenure. Bit it is representative of his time at UF.

A third consecutive losing season for Napier is all but guaranteed.

Miami is the 6th best team we will face this year. We played them at home and during the first week when teams are still figuring stuff out.

Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU, Georgia, Texas are pretty much guaranteed losses.

Kentucky, aTm, and F$U will all be favored over us.

UCF will be chomping at the bit.

Miss State is on the road.

We will need to win games we are not favored in to simply go 5-7.

Sorry Billy, that will not cut it. Your seat should be thermonuclear hot and it is due to your own actions.

No more preaching, no more lecturing, no more talking about process, people, and organization. It is all baloney if it doesn’t lead to wins.

Gator Nation is out of patience. We could have tolerated a competent team who lost close to a superior opponent. Instead we saw more of the same: costly penalties, clock mismanagement, lack of urgency and awareness, playcalling that couldn’t excite the folks in the leather helmet era, and a team that straighr up quit on you.

Hope you saw the droves of fans leaving. That was your last chance. We do not stand behind you anymore.
