I’ll be happy with a 1-point win, no serious injury game over Miami.

Then, 7 wins in the regular season, and a Top 10 recruiting class in December.

Napier would be retained and things would be looking good for the future.

It’s easy to look good in a scrimmage when a bad unit plays a bad unit

So after hearing about how pleased he was and seeing how we got boat-raced by an ACC team, can we trust Napier’s judgement about anything going forward?

Who was the team scrimmaging against for him to be “pleased” with their performance? A local high school?

Starting to think we scrimmage against ghost players.

We should have scrimmaged ten times in the off season... But I don't really care to talk about this team right now. We were all lied to.

Unfortunately, it aged about as expected after watching the last two losing seasons objectively: no player development, poor strength/cond, terrible communication, not getting better thru the season, predictable offense, etc. I’m a fan so I hoped for a different outcome, but watching Napier bumble for 2 years didn’t expect it.

Honest question- name concrete accomplishments by BN in years 1-2 that justified strong belief? Not “he’s the right guy”, he came into a tough spot, or culture is better stuff, but concrete “great play calls”, schemes he implemented, hires that blew us away on field? Now consider the concrete negatives: Arkansas, 4th and 17, losing records, etc.

Garbage lines on both sides. Couldn’t clog the middle, couldn’t rush from edges, got our QB in concussion, just about as bad as they could get. WTF we have 2 OL coaches?

Napier hung his hat all offseason on the two plays vs Arkansas and Mizzou.

If he somehow makes it to Dec 1, he will hang his hat on how tough the schedule was.

The man is clueless. He wants to win, just doesn’t know how.

Every word coming from Stricklin and the UAA now is pure gaslighting due to self preservation. Sucls the university doesn’t have a permanent president that can make the call on all of them.
